HELLO Lab

Hearing Experience and Language Learning Outcomes Lab @ UConn

Hello,

The HELLO Lab is currently running a project called Parent Infant Eye-tracking (PIE) to understand how parent–child interactions support early word learning, and is looking for families to participate. If you have a child between 1 and 3 years old, with no hearing impairment and no history of developmental disability, then you may be eligible.

Participation is completely voluntary. As a participating family, you will receive an assessment of your child’s auditory comprehension and expressive communication skills as well as your child’s adaptive behaviors at home. We also offer $30/hour as compensation for your and your child’s time.

If you would like to learn more, or have any questions, you can email derek.houston@uconn.edu or call ‪(860) 341-2667 or complete this brief eligibility survey: uconn.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4Vm1MQNGLYzDhAO.

Thank you for supporting early childhood research!
